Nilachal (নীলাচল) is situated at Tiger Para (টাইগার পাড়া), the nearest tourist spot from Bandarban city. It is also known as Tiger Hill. It’s only 5 km away and about 2000 feet high above the sea level. There is a rest house, a big cafe and some small tea stalls in the Nilachal. The rest house is round-shaped with round-balcony managed by the District administrator. From the Nilachal hill you can see the whole Bandarban city one side and the hills in other side. You can also see the Gloden Temple, another unknown temple, Buddhist house etc. When the sky is clear people can see the Chittagong port and sea beach. The sight of sunrise and the sunset form Nilachal will astonish you. In the rainy season visitors might found clouds around him and in the winter season can watch an awesome foggy morning. I have visited Nilachal in 2011, 2013 and recent 2018. Last time I went there saw a massive change. Everything becomes so different and lots of new places added like Neharka and Valentine point. These places are in the slopes of the hills. There are different scenes from different areas of the mountain. The beauty of the nature and mountain can be enjoyed from here.

The best part of my 2nd visit was It was a moonlight night. Normally general public can not enter at night. But because of Gov. officers with us we are able to enter there. The decoration of the Nilachal changed a lot since my last visit. It was more decorated and well furnished. The district administrator did a good job to make this place live again. We saw lot's of decoration work was going on. We stay there more than one hour, look around the place and talked to the officials of rest house and cafe. The rest house and the cafe are maintained by the district administrator. The cafe called Nemesis was not open for the customers till then.
