In July 2019, I was doing a project called "Digital Sylhet City project" which is an IP Camera Based Surveillance System with AI support. Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) under the ICT Division installed a number of Face Recognition and Automatic Number-plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras to improve the overall security in Sylhet city. Around 110 AI based IP cameras were installed in different points of the main city. The camera operation and monitoring system was installed in Kotowali Model Police Station. That time I was working for Huawei Technologies which provided the tracking system solutions and the devices required for this project. After the work on the way back to Dhaka we visited the Rangauti Resort. It is a nice place to spend your weekend in a natural environment.
Rangauti Resort is located besides a U shaped lake which is a branch of Monu river in Moulvibazar, Sylhet. It is a clean and well organized resort. The in-door swimming pool is very nice beside the natural lake. There is a cottage over the lake. Visitors can spend time by swimming, boating, fishing & BBQ etc.
